Leadership of the Furaha Child Sponsorship Program has now been transferred to Coordinators Denu Navaratnarajah and Praneetha Selliah.
Effective now, there is new e-mail contact information for the Furaha Program. E-mail address: furaha.africa@yahoo.com
Check your sponsor correspondence from the coordinators or e-mail to the address above to find out where to send regular mail or cheques.
PLEASE NOTE: For those sponsors who send funds through the Church of God in Western Canada office there is no change - you still make cheques out to THE CHURCH OF GOD IN WESTERN CANADA and send it to the office in Camrose.
All others take note in the change:
Cheques are now made out to: Furaha Child Sponsorship Program (FCSP)
Payment by credit card is now available.
Payments and post-dated checks already received are still being honored but please make the changes for your next payments.
There are still children waiting to be sponsored from each of the three countries and new sponsors are needed. Please help spread the news to those who may want to sponsor a child. Special thanks to all who have been or still are faithful sponsors over the years, you have changed many lives and given the youngsters happiness(furaha) and hope.
Some changes have been made to the FAQ's on the website.
Thank you for you patience for those working to run this program effectively so it can continue and expand to include more children and sponsors.
Another program review trip is planned for mid-September, 2011.
